HOW TO CHECK IN - You will be sent a check in form via text and/or email to fill out within 24 hours of your check in date. Complete the form and submit it before your arrival. If you do not have a chance to fill out your check in form, we will still check you in automatically the day of arrival. This means we WILL be charging your card when we check you in sometime between 12noon & 3pm on the day you arrive. We will text and email you an access code to get into your room once we have you checked in. You will receive this code sometime between 12noon & 3pm. If you receive the code before 3pm, this does not mean you can check in earlier then 3pm. If you would like an early check in, please call the motel to check and see if early arrival is available. Using codes as your key allows you to access your room immediately upon your arrival.
HOW TO CHECK OUT - Check out is a snap! Just lock your room door and place the colorful door hanger that indicates you have checked out, located on your nightstand, on the outsdie of your door when you leave. This will let our staff know the room is empty and ready to be cleaned for the next guest. You can also stop by the office if you prefer. But the office is not open 24 hours a day. Office hours are 8:30am - 5pm.
EXTENDING YOUR STAY - If you wish to continue to stay passed your check out date and we a room available, you must pay in full for the number of days you wish to add by 11am of your original check out date. No exceptions will be made. If payment is not received by 11am you will be required to check out by your original check out date. Please keep in mind, you may have to move to a different room, if the room you are staying in is not available for another night.
PARTIES AND DISRUPTIONS - We want to make it clear that the Middlebury Sweets Motel is a family friendly envinroment. We do not tolerate excessive drinking on the premesis, partying of any sort, and noise or disruptions that may disturb our other guests. We expect everyone who stays here to respect others and our property. Quiet time starts at 10pm but guest are expected to keep their noise volumes reasonable before those hours as well. If these rules are not followed you may be subject to fines and asked to leave the premises if you continue with the behavior.
RESERVATION EXCEPTIONS
MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE EVENT RESERVATIONS - We do not allow online reservations for the following Middlebury College Events - February Celebration, May Graduation & Parents Weekend. Please call us for availability and rates! 2 night minimums are required for Parents Weekend & February Celebration and 3 nights are required for Middlebury Graduation. Payment in full is required at time of reservation.
PET FRIENDLY - We are a pet friendly motel. There is a fee of $10 per pet per day. Maximum number of pets allowed are 2. There is no way to charge you this fee when you book a reservation online. Please email the motel at blanca@middmotel.com and let us know that you will be bringing a pet once you book your reservation online. You can also just reply to your confirmation email to let us know. We need to know how many pets and what kind of pet you will be bringing with you. Once we get the email, we will add the pet fee to your reservation. Failure to notify us ahead of time about your pet may result in a $250 fine for bringing an unauthirzed pet to the motel.
